Job Description

The Retail Business Specialist program for high school graduates is primarily designed for high school graduates or university dropouts who want to quickly take on responsibility in a practical setting. The program begins with comprehensive commercial training, reflecting the diverse nature of the retail industry itself. Participants gradually gain experience in all areas of business. This generalist training provides graduates with the necessary knowledge at the level of a business administration degree. The program offers three recognized, state-approved professional qualifications: Retail Salesperson, Certified Trainer (AdA), and Certified Retail Business Specialist. After completing the 34-month Retail Business Specialist program, graduates are qualified for responsible positions in the retail sector. Entry-level positions include department management, store management, and branch management. Leadership opportunities exist in procurement, logistics, marketing, controlling, and human resources.
