Job Description

Master of Food – Agricultural Technical Assistants (ATA) for Food Analysis. You're passionate about food, but have no problem with overindulging because your interest is purely scientific. You're fascinated by how new products are developed and existing foods are manufactured. If you're also enthusiastic about chemistry and biology, then the Agricultural Technical Assistant (ATA) for Food Analysis training program could be just right for you. In this job, your main workplace is the laboratory. There, you analyze dairy products and other foods, checking, for example, whether the ingredients listed on the packaging are actually present in the finished product in the corresponding quantities. Testing for germs or contaminants is also part of your job. Furthermore, Agricultural Technical Assistants (ATA) for Food Analysis contribute to the development of new products.

Laboratory professions with a future – Important future topics such as food security, healthy and valuable food, an intact environment, modern biotechnology, and sustainable plant technology are the focus of our apprenticeships. Have you always been interested in natural sciences, chemistry, and biology? Can you imagine yourself working in a laboratory? As an Agricultural Technical Assistant (ATA), you will contribute to the future using methods of microbiology, molecular biology, and chemical analysis. You will analyze, research, and develop. Your apprenticeship lasts two years and is divided equally between the school in Landsberg am Lech and a recognized internship company. This ideal combination of theory and practice is the focus of the training.
