Job Description
Are you fascinated by medical topics, psychologically stable, and mentally resilient? If you are also empathetic and enjoy supporting others in difficult situations, then becoming an Anesthesia Technician (ATA) is an ideal career for you. As an anesthesiologist, you will assist anesthesiologists in the preparation, administration, and aftercare of anesthesia. The classroom portion of your training will provide you with the theoretical foundations, including hygiene, anatomy, pharmacology, and legal regulations. You will then apply this knowledge directly in practice during your work in the operating room. As an Anesthesia Technician, you are not only important to the doctor but also to the patient. When they wake up from anesthesia after surgery, you are the first person they see and speak to. This can be an intense and fulfilling experience that clearly demonstrates the responsibility this profession entails.
