Job Description

As an electronics technician for automation technology, you can work in any company that uses automation technology. This technology enables machines to operate "automatically." You'll be building technology that doesn't require a human operator. You'll also be responsible for maintaining this technology. Your daily work is incredibly diverse. In addition to assembling various technical devices, you'll be involved in their planning and design. This includes creating circuit diagrams and developing the machines' motion sequences. You'll also program the systems. This requires extensive technical knowledge. More practical tasks are also part of your job – you'll assemble the machines and use diagnostic equipment to identify faults. Naturally, you'll also be responsible for fixing any faults you find. Ultimately, you'll ensure that the individual components of highly complex industrial systems form a "functioning whole." You'll take on responsible tasks even during your apprenticeship.
