Job Description
In the field of precision mechanics, precision mechanics (m/f/d) manufacture, for example, precision instruments for testing and measuring tasks or precision mechanical control and regulating devices. They produce and maintain machines and equipment based on technical documentation. They assemble prefabricated or self-manufactured components into parts and complete machines or devices. They set up and test machines and equipment. They advise customers or users and instruct them on the operation of the machines and equipment.
Precision mechanics (m/f/d) specializing in precision mechanics work in a wide variety of industries, from mechanical engineering and the electrical engineering industry to the toy industry. Their workplace is either in the workshop or at the customer's site.
