Training Content
- Specialist training on piston engines, gas turbines and jet engines, as well as gas turbines and jet engines
- Fundamentals of manual and machine processing of aerospace-specific materials, sheet metal processing, and electrical engineering
- Handling different joining methods, treating and protecting surfaces, balancing engine parts
- Implementation of quality assurance procedures and testing and trials of engines and attachments
- Helping to shape and organize processes

- After your training, you will be able to perform the following tasks:

Job Description
As an aircraft mechanic, you play a crucial role in ensuring air traffic safety. The training is correspondingly diverse, covering the manufacturing, maintenance, inspection, and repair of aircraft and their propulsion systems.
After your apprenticeship, exciting opportunities await you in assembly, on test benches, in development, in parts production, and in the maintenance and repair of aircraft engines.
The apprenticeship process:
The apprenticeship lasts 3.5 years, or three or two and a half years with above-average performance in both the workplace and at school.
The vocational school is located in Erding.
This profession offers both enjoyment and responsibility.
