Job Description
Should dealing with people be your top priority when choosing a career? If you're also great at organizing and keep your cool in stressful situations, becoming a transportation services clerk is the perfect job for you. During your training, you'll learn interesting business aspects, learn all about service facilities in vehicles, and be prepared for dealing with customers. This includes aspects such as conflict management, foreign languages, and rules of conduct when accompanying special groups of people. As a transportation services clerk, you'll be the good soul in railway operations, on ferries, or in other transportation facilities. You'll provide all kinds of information in a friendly manner and be there for passengers in a service-oriented manner. You can also work in administration or security. Thanks to your good communication skills, you'll confidently defuse difficult situations, such as those involving agitated or disruptive passengers.

You will support and advise our customers at the DB Information desk and in the mobile service at train stations.
