- Assembly and commissioning:
- You assemble mechanical and electronic components into complex systems and put them into operation.
- Maintenance and repair: You keep our machines and equipment in good working order, carry out regular maintenance and troubleshoot malfunctions.
- Assembling plant components from individual parts, including testing, assembly, inspection and troubleshooting.
- Programming and test runs: You program controllers and conduct test runs to ensure that everything works smoothly.
- Troubleshooting: When technical problems arise, you systematically search for the fault and find suitable solutions.

Job Description
Keeping the Circuit Running – Mechatronics Apprenticeship Guessing Game: Electronics and mechanics combine. What's their baby called? That's right! The answer is mechatronics. If you work in this profession, you'll have two specializations and numerous career opportunities. From washing machines and cars to coffee machines, robots, and production lines, all these products must not be allowed to break down unexpectedly. As a mechatronics technician, you keep them running. Your tasks are diverse. You test and maintain devices, assemble them, and, if necessary, disassemble them again. Components need to be replaced, and weaknesses identified. Installing circuits and uploading the corresponding software round out this varied job profile. Because the field of application is so extensive, there are various specializations for mechatronics technicians.
