Job Description
You keep the circuit running smoothly - training as a mechatronics engineer. Guessing game: Electronics and mechanics pair up. What's their baby's name? Correct! The answer is mechatronics. If you work in this profession, you have two specializations and numerous job opportunities. From washing machines and cars to coffee machines, robots and production systems, all of these products must not come to an unintended standstill. As a mechatronics engineer, you keep them running. Your tasks are varied. You test and maintain devices, assemble them, and disassemble them if necessary. Components must be replaced, and weak points identified. Installing circuits and uploading the associated software round out the diverse professional profile. Because the field of application is so broad, mechatronics engineers have various specializations, such as automotive mechatronics.
