Job Description

The Amberg-Sulzbach State Construction Office plans, builds, maintains, and operates the federal and state highways in the districts of Tirschenreuth, Amberg-Sulzbach, and Schwandorf, as well as the federal, state, and county roads in the district of Neustadt an der Waldnaab. The State Construction Office's seven road maintenance depots monitor the condition of the roads. They maintain traffic signs, clean the roads, care for green spaces, and handle minor repairs. A primary task during the winter months is the timely salting and snow removal of the roads. When applying, please include the reference number V11-AZUBI SM in the subject line. We, the Amberg-Sulzbach State Construction Office, plan and implement construction and renovation projects for the Free State of Bavaria, as well as civilian and military construction projects for the Federal Government and for visiting armed forces at the Grafenwöhr Training Area. Our local area of responsibility extends from the Tirschenreuth district in the north to the Schwandorf district in the south.
