Job Description
Veterinary assistants (m/f/d) care for animals before, during, and after treatment. They assist with animal procedures and surgical interventions and provide emergency care. They also look after animals in the infirmary and perform laboratory work. They maintain order and hygiene in the department and handle administrative tasks. They support veterinarians by providing assistance and organizational support. In veterinary practices, they check the order of the waiting room and treatment rooms before the start of consultations. They schedule appointments, manage the order of visitors, and maintain patient records.
