As a sales assistant, you're not just the point of contact for customers, but you also keep the store running smoothly, quite literally. You manage inventory and ensure that the shelves are not only well-stocked but also attractively arranged. You advise customers on purchases, are always available to answer their questions, and handle customer complaints. An apprenticeship as a sales assistant can be completed in numerous companies, from shoe stores and furniture stores to DIY centers – there's a suitable training company for every taste.
