Training Content

  • You will learn the basics of merchandise management – including ordering, assortment planning and product presentation, and inventory control.
  • You conduct consulting and sales conversations.
  • You will handle cashier duties, price merchandise, and process customer complaints.
  • You will get to know the back office areas in the customer information center.
  • You participate in regularly held training courses and workshops.
  • You'll get an overview of the entire BAUHAUS, then you can specialize in one of our 15 specialist departments.
  • In the first two years of your apprenticeship, you will also learn how to order goods and present them optimally.
  • In the third year of your apprenticeship, we will show you everything about merchandise management and marketing measures.
