Job Description
Do you enjoy changing work locations and challenging work? Then a career as a surveying technician is perfect for you!
Surveying technicians can measure anything with specialized instruments, regardless of how uneven or sloping the terrain is.
As a specialist in surveying calculations (for example, for areas or elevations), you'll always be involved before a house or road is built. You'll work as part of a team with your surveying crew and regularly communicate with building authorities, landowners, and other professionals to coordinate your work.
During and after your apprenticeship, you'll work in public administration or surveying offices. Your workplace will alternate between indoors (for office work) and outdoors (during surveying).
