Job Description
As an administrative specialist in local government, you perform various tasks in the offices and agencies of a specific area. You monitor compliance with applicable regulations and the implementation of official decisions within your area of responsibility. Key tools include administrative files and electronic data processing.
During your apprenticeship, you will learn how to work with various regulations and how to find the appropriate solution when needed. You will be deployed in several exciting areas of administration, such as the residents' registration office, the building authority, or the vehicle registration office. Parts of the apprenticeship also cover the structure of the state and the role of public administration, the legal foundations of procurement and legal interventions, as well as proper administrative management and personnel management. As an administrative specialist in local government, you will have many career opportunities in municipal and district administrations or local government offices and agencies.
