Job Description

As a municipal administrative specialist, you perform various tasks in the offices and agencies of a specific area. You monitor compliance with applicable regulations and the implementation of official decisions within your area of responsibility. Key tools include administrative files and electronic data processing. During your apprenticeship, you will learn how to handle various regulations and how to find the appropriate solution when needed. You will be deployed in several exciting areas of administration, such as the residents' registration office, the building authority, or the vehicle registration office. Parts of the apprenticeship also cover the structure of the state and the role of public administration, the legal foundations of procurement and legal interventions, as well as proper administrative management and personnel management. As a municipal administrative specialist, you will have many opportunities in municipal and district administrations or local government offices and agencies. You will generally rotate through all departments in the town hall (Citizens & Family, Finance, Construction & Environment, Management), experiencing a wide range of tasks. The apprenticeship typically involves working in all departments of the town hall (Citizens & Family, Finance, Construction & Environment, Administration), where you will gain experience in many different areas. The citizen service offers a lot of contact with citizens, but the archive in the management office is also very interesting.
