Job Description
As an administrative specialist in local government, you will perform various tasks in the offices and agencies of a specific area. You will monitor compliance with applicable regulations and the implementation of official decisions within your area of responsibility. Key tools include administrative files and electronic data processing.
During your apprenticeship, you will learn how to handle various regulations and how to find the appropriate solution when needed. You will be deployed in several exciting areas of administration, such as the residents' registration office, the building authority, or the vehicle registration office. Parts of the apprenticeship also cover the structure of the state and the role of public administration, the legal basis for procurement and legal interventions, as well as proper administrative management and personnel management.
The three-year dual apprenticeship takes place at the municipal administration of Grünwald (practical component) and at the vocational school and the Bavarian School of Public Administration (theoretical component).
The apprenticeship is divided into training modules. In each module, you will become familiar with a department, spend approximately three weeks at the Bavarian School of Public Administration, and approximately six weeks at the vocational school.
