Job Description

An administrative assistant essentially works in two main areas: people and numbers. Their job opportunities are very diverse. For example, at the city level, they might advise citizens on new identity cards or answer inquiries from companies regarding financing. They might also organize employee personnel files or handle payroll. When it comes to numbers, they often deal with the city budget or a company's financial plan. Training providers can include government agencies and offices, as well as university administrations. The training is generally based on five areas: local government, state and federal administrations, trade organizations, and church administrations. Regardless of the specific area, the training is usually very similar. Anyone who enjoys numbers as much as people should consider an apprenticeship as an administrative assistant.
