Job Description

An administrative assistant essentially works in two main areas: people and numbers. The job opportunities are very diverse. At the city administration, for example, they advise citizens on new identity cards or answer inquiries from companies regarding financing. They also organize employee personnel files and handle payroll. When it comes to numbers, they often deal with the city's budget or a company's financial plan. Training providers can include government agencies and offices, as well as university administrations. The training is based on five main areas: local government, state and federal administrations, trade organizations, and church administrations. Regardless, the training is usually very similar. Anyone who enjoys numbers as much as people should consider an apprenticeship as an administrative assistant. Training Structure Practical training in all departments and branch offices of the city administration Block courses at the vocational school for legal and administrative professions in Munich Participation in courses at the Bavarian School of Public Administration
