Job Description
An administrative assistant essentially works in two main areas: people and numbers. Their job opportunities are very diverse. At the district office, for example, they advise citizens on new driver's licenses or answer inquiries from companies about current legislation. They also organize employee personnel files and handle payroll. When it comes to numbers, they often deal with the agency's budget.
Training providers can include government agencies and offices, as well as university administrations. The training is generally based on five areas: local government, state and federal administrations, trade organizations, and church administrations. Regardless, the training is usually very similar across all departments. Anyone who enjoys numbers as much as people should consider an apprenticeship as an administrative assistant.
