In human resources, for example, you might handle promotions, transfers, or the approval of vacation requests. In addition to organizational tasks, you might also prepare financial plans or work with budgets and accounting. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you can work in all these areas of state and local government, such as at the regional or district level.
