Job Description
Step by step to professional success – training as a train traffic controller and additional qualification as a track engineer. Are you fascinated by trains? Not only because they have been transporting people and goods to their destinations in an environmentally friendly way for decades, but also because you are captivated by the different carriages, locomotives, and track layouts? Then you should find out about vocational training as a train traffic controller and additional qualification as a track engineer! During the training as a train traffic controller, you will learn what happens behind the scenes to ensure that trains reach their destinations every day. Various signaling technologies, the transmission of signals, and the setting of points – whatever it takes for a train to reach its destination as planned: you will implement it! The further qualification as a track engineer will ultimately make you an expert on routes in the rail network. When new routes are requested, you will check whether they can be implemented, design them, and communicate this to the relevant authorities.
