The apprenticeship as a plumbing, heating, and air conditioning (HVAC) technician encompasses the skills of a gas and water installer as well as a heating and ventilation technician. It also includes components of solar and electrical engineering. For HVAC technicians, manual dexterity, technical understanding, spatial reasoning, and an interest in mathematics are essential.
