But the question of which specialization to choose leaves you feeling lost, because this field is so diverse. If you decide on an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk, you can take your time to find out which department suits you best. As a bonus, you'll gain a comprehensive overview, because industrial clerks get to know the company from all angles. In this varied apprenticeship, you might, for example, work for a few months in a company's purchasing department before moving on to sales. Later, you could work in departments such as accounting, shipping, and human resources. This way, industrial clerks not only understand the interrelationships within the company, but by the end of their apprenticeship, they also know exactly where they want to work long-term.
The apprenticeship lasts 3 years.
