Job Description

You're cooler than frozen food – Retail Salesperson. People who like you affectionately describe you as communicative. There's no denying that you enjoy the sound of your own voice. If you also enjoy working with people and are looking for a varied career with numerous opportunities, then you might be the perfect retail salesperson. In this job, you literally keep the store running, as it offers you several areas of responsibility. You order goods, receive them, store them, and stock the shelves. You provide expert advice to customers, remain calm even with the most unusual requests or wishes, and ultimately ring up the cash register at the end of the shopping trip. As a retail salesperson, you are the main point of contact for customers. You advise them directly, sell goods, and handle any complaints. Your tasks also include purchasing planning, ordering and receiving deliveries, checking their quality, and ensuring proper storage. In sales preparation, you'll take care of product presentation and regularly restock the shelves. You'll price the items and help make the sales area attractive to customers. Furthermore, you'll plan the product range and assist in the conception and implementation of sales promotion activities.
