Job Description
If you're interested in technology, the profession of machine and plant operator could be just right for you. Why? In this profession, you can take on responsibility by learning how to handle control and regulation systems or even manufacture components yourself. Maintaining machines and plants is just as much a part of the job as troubleshooting or retooling them. It's especially exciting when new technological innovations come onto the market and the machines need to be equipped with them. As a machine and plant operator, you have the opportunity to tailor your training to your personal interests.
At Schlaeger, trainees take on a lot of responsibility early on and are integrated into the production team, giving them the opportunity to learn and solidify everything they need for their future careers at their own pace, under the guidance of specialists and managers. In our 24-hour production race, you, as a machine and plant operator (m/f/d), will have a great responsibility during your 2-year apprenticeship: you will operate mechatronic machines to manufacture our products and monitor the production processes and the quality of the products in order to be able to intervene quickly in case of quality deviations or machine malfunctions.
