Job Description
Electronics technicians in industrial engineering are responsible for the smooth operation of electronic systems. This primarily includes the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. If you choose to train as an electronics technician in industrial engineering, you will also learn a great deal about the various production and process systems, as well as switchgear and control systems and communication and lighting equipment. You will regularly inspect the electronic systems in your company and repair them if necessary. During your training, you will learn everything you need to know: circuit diagrams, various tools, and electronic components are part of your daily work. As an electronics technician in industrial engineering, you will also supervise the work of service providers and installers, hand over completed systems to customers, and instruct future users on the systems.
Your tasks:
You will gain insight into the maintenance of various electronic systems.
You will diligently oversee the maintenance and repair of switches, level crossings, signals, and interlocking systems.
You will learn about measurement, testing, and diagnostic procedures, as well as their expert documentation.
You will also be responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting faults.
You will be working outside with a team of three people.
