Job Description

Always ready - Training to become an industrial mechanic Standstill? Not for you! With this attitude and a passion for technology, you should consider the training profession of industrial mechanic. Goods are produced using systems and machines, in the largest possible quantities and at the highest possible speed. If this process comes to a standstill, high costs quickly arise. It's no wonder, then, that industrial mechanics are in demand. Their job is to prevent production downtimes or to resolve them as quickly as possible. Your responsibilities include more than just the maintenance and servicing of machines and systems. You monitor production processes and resolve malfunctions, install systems, and train employees. Since machines and systems are used in virtually every manufacturing company, the job opportunities in this profession are as diverse as the range of tasks. Your tasks: You will work on construction sites and on railway substructures and superstructures, ensuring a safe and stable rail network. Work with state-of-the-art machinery and a variety of construction materials. Replace damaged tracks and switches, and renew trackbeds. You will learn how to expertly check track curves and gauges using surveying equipment.
