Job Description
As a graduate of this degree program, you'll work at key manufacturing locations, ensuring that MTU Aero Engines can thrive in the international market despite increasing cost pressures and the highest quality standards. You'll develop computer-aided processes for manufacturing, repair, and assembly, and apply your academic knowledge to the design of our products.
Daily demands for creativity and collaboration with departments such as product lines, technical purchasing, IT, and finance round out this diverse and engaging role.
The dual study program at Munich University of Applied Sciences is equivalent in content to a traditional mechanical engineering degree with a focus on production. In the fifth semester, you'll complete a full practical semester at MTU. Additional practical phases take place during semester breaks. You'll have complete control over which exciting projects you'll work on at MTU!
The practical component of this dual study program is at least 50% higher than that of a traditional degree program.
Total duration of studies: 3.5 years
Practical phases: 16 months
Theoretical phases: 27 months
Before starting your studies, you must complete an 8-week pre-study internship, during which you will work in a hands-on capacity. If you receive our offer for this study place, you can complete the technical pre-study internship at MTU in Munich between June 10 and July 26, 2025.
