Job Description

As a graduate of this degree program, you will work at key manufacturing locations to ensure that MTU Aero Engines can thrive in the international market despite increasing cost pressures and the highest quality standards. You will, for example, develop computer-aided processes for manufacturing, repair, and assembly, or apply your academic knowledge to the design of our products. Daily demands for creativity and collaboration with departments such as product lines, technical purchasing, IT, and finance round out this diverse and engaging job. The curriculum of this dual-study program at Munich University of Applied Sciences is equivalent to that of a traditional degree program. You can find more information on the Munich University of Applied Sciences website. The practical semester takes place at MTU during the fifth semester. Additional practical phases are conducted during semester breaks. At Munich University of Applied Sciences, you can choose from various specializations during your main course of study, such as production or mechatronics. The entire program lasts 3.5 years. In June/July, before the start of your studies, you must complete an 8-week pre-study internship at MTU if you haven't yet completed any technical training. We will automatically reserve a place for you during this internship. Practical content: During your practical placements at MTU Aero Engines, you will work in various MTU departments in Munich and at other locations.
