Each of the six semesters is divided into a theoretical and a practical phase, each lasting three months. The Business Engineering specialization provides an ideal foundation for a future career as an in-house consultant.
You can design your own practical placements in the MTU. The plan includes, for example:
If you are drawn to the field of Human Resources, during your practical phases you will learn about our HR processes and already be involved in your own exciting digitalization projects.
If your dream job is in IT project management, you can expect practical placements in the following teams: HR or Finance and Controlling, to learn about the processes of your future "clients" in internal consulting.
Deployment in corporate IT, e.g. in the SAP competence team, IT project management, IT governance or with MTU-specific software solutions
Deployment at one of MTU's locations abroad

Expectations

Interest in the economic context of a publicly listed company
Enjoyment of contributing to and further developing an internationally positioned corporation
Willingness to solve problems as a team and to interact with many different customers and clients.
General university entrance qualification or subject-specific university entrance qualification that corresponds to the field of study
Prior practical experience in finance or human resources is desirable.
