Job Description
Are you interested in working in the medical field and looking for a job with a wide range of responsibilities? Then consider training as a medical assistant. This profession combines the diverse areas of health, administration, and patient care. In a doctor's office, you'll be the patient's first point of contact, providing care, assisting with examinations, and documenting data and results. Organizing practice procedures, adhering to hygiene regulations, and conducting laboratory tests are also part of the job.
As a trainee medical assistant, you'll acquire the theoretical knowledge for your tasks at vocational school. You'll learn practical skills directly in the daily practice setting. It's important to remain calm at all times, as things can get hectic in a doctor's office. Stay friendly and empathetic; you'll be dealing with people who may be seriously ill and understandably distressed. You'll be a source of comfort and support for them, which will give you a fulfilling feeling.
