DEINE MISSION
- You will have a firm place in electronics; without its sophisticated possibilities, many groundbreaking applications and devices in the high-tech sector would be inconceivable.
- You prepare electroplating baths, test their properties, immerse objects in them, and apply metals (e.g., gold, silver) to their surface.
- You will use electroplating to refine the surfaces of metals and plastic objects in order to improve electrical conductivity and wear resistance.

DAILY MISSION
Do you love working with chemical processes? Is the appearance of objects important to you? Are you aware that high-quality materials or components sell better? Then become a surface coater! The name of the profession says it all: As an expert in physical, chemical, electrochemical, or electrical processes, you coat and refine all kinds of surfaces. For example, you transform a cheap-looking plastic handle into a high-gloss, metallic-looking one. Thanks to your work, the value of many components and materials increases. Corrosion protection through appropriate surface coatings is also part of your job, for example, in the automotive industry. As a multi-talented individual, you are also responsible for the disposal of chemical solutions and the maintenance of the equipment in the workplace. Surface coaters work in craft or industrial businesses. Your daily workplace is a workshop or factory floor.
