Job Description

As an Electrical Systems Planner, you plan and design the electrical equipment for process plants. You will learn to use a variety of CAD programs to create the necessary drawings and circuit diagrams, and to prepare data for applications such as software development, control cabinet construction, and electrical installation. During your apprenticeship, you will gain experience in network technology, instrumentation (measurement, control, and regulation), electrical hardware planning, and electrical installation technology. By the end of your training, you will be qualified to plan complex process plants and oversee their installation at the end customer's site.
