Job Description

The training to become an administrative specialist prepares you for a wide range of roles in companies and government agencies. In human resources, an administrative specialist handles promotions, transfers, and the approval of vacation requests. In public administration, you take on organizational tasks. You prepare business plans or manage the company's budget and accounting. If your work involves representing citizens' interests, you process applications, investigate existing facts, and make decisions based on applicable laws. This is necessary, for example, when you have to mediate a conflict between two parties. Upon successful completion of the training, you can work in federal, state, and local government agencies. You can also take on positions in EU agencies. Employment with business associations is also within your scope of possibilities. Furthermore, you can be employed at universities and even in churches.
