Training as a specialist in driving operations

Whether it's to work, home, or a party – as a transport professional, you ensure your passengers get from A to B safely. Behind the wheel of buses, S-Bahn, and U-Bahn trains, you feel at home and keep a cool head even in busy traffic. Before departure, you take care of safety and cleanliness in the passenger compartment. You are the point of contact for passengers, providing information about connections and selling tickets. Operational disruptions don't faze you: you fix minor defects yourself, and otherwise inform the control center and the passengers. But even a transport professional needs to get out of the car sometimes: in the technical service department, you learn to carry out maintenance and repairs. Your tasks also include desk work. Creating duty rosters and organizing the vehicle fleet are further challenges you'll master during your varied apprenticeship.
