Training as an automotive mechatronics technician for commercial vehicles

(m/f/d)

Job Description

No vehicle is too big or too complicated for you? Are trucks, tractors, excavators, and buses exactly your thing? Are cars too boring and standard for you? Then choose a specialty and become an automotive mechatronics technician for commercial vehicle technology! In this profession, you'll tinker with the very large vehicles that no one else dares to touch. You'll repair buses, semi-trailers, construction vehicles, fire engines, municipal cleaning vehicles, and many other commercial vehicles, checking their technical systems or installing new ones. With your technical expertise, you'll also work in engine management or in error analysis using diagnostic equipment. Working underneath a truck or disassembling the enormous engine of a bus is a breathtaking, gigantic feeling, which you'll experience every day in this profession. Your workplaces as an automotive mechatronics technician for commercial vehicle technology will be workshops and production halls large enough for these vehicle giants.
