Apprenticeship as a cook/chef

(m/f/d)

Job Description

Do you love making other people happy with your delicacies? Do you enjoy creating meal plans and working with food? Then become a chef! In this profession, you'll not only cook, garnish, and bake, but also be responsible for all kitchen operations. This means creating menus, organizing workflows, purchasing ingredients, and ensuring proper food storage are also part of your responsibilities. You'll also advise guests and calculate menu prices. As a food and process specialist, you'll also ensure that dishes are prepared on time and in the correct order. As a chef, you can find work anywhere that provides food: restaurants, hospitals, hotels, catering companies, and canteens, for example.
