As a master of sheet metal and steel, you'll create lasting works using modern machines and lasers, such as airport terminals, bridges, ship hulls, superstructures, and elevators. This includes the complete package, such as maintaining and repairing your structures, tools, and machines. As a structural mechanic, you'll work in (large) workshops and on customer construction sites. You can find employment in companies that manufacture machines, ships, vehicles, and rail vehicles, as well as in steel and metal construction. A truly versatile profession!
