Bananas don't grow in the Black Forest, but people there also want to eat these tropical fruits. A lot of planning is necessary to ensure that bananas arrive ripe on supermarket shelves in southern Germany. As a freight forwarding and logistics specialist, you ensure that goods travel smoothly from one place to another. You determine the most suitable means of transport, check customs regulations and delivery times. Based on the collected data, you create quotes. Once the goods are en route, you take care of compliance with customs regulations and ensure that the necessary documents are always where they belong, so that the goods arrive safely and on time.
