The job title says it all. Do you love technology, planning, and systems? Then a career as a Technical Systems Planner is perfect for you! Using state-of-the-art computer technology, you'll plan and design machines, buildings, systems, and equipment, enabling designers and engineers to bring their ideas to life. You'll be involved in the entire product development process, from start to finish, working closely with all stakeholders (such as tradespeople). The specializations of "Building Services Engineering," "Steel and Metal Construction," and "Electronic Systems" encompass specific tasks and products, each with its own name. During and after your apprenticeship, you'll work in planning and development offices. A career as an engineer is also possible after your apprenticeship with further training and education or a university degree.
