Veterinary Assistant Training
(m/f/d)Job Description
A practical heart for animals – training as a veterinary assistant. You grew up with animals and therefore know that you don't only experience happy moments with them. As a veterinary assistant, your heart must beat for animals, but it mustn't break when it sees suffering. You care for the four-legged patients lovingly and consistently. You alleviate their and their owners' fears and care for the animals after procedures. Blood, syringes, and scalpels don't faze you any more than barking dogs, scratching cats, or wriggling snakes. Your career opportunities are as diverse as the animal kingdom itself. In this profession, you can work in a small animal practice or for a veterinarian who cares for large animals. Animal hospitals, zoos, or research institutes are also possible workplaces.
