Animal caretaker training

(m/f/d)

Job Description

Animal Colleagues - Animal Caretaker Training A life without animals is unimaginable for you! How about turning your passion into a career by starting an apprenticeship as an animal caretaker? In this apprenticeship, you'll ensure the well-being of the animals entrusted to your care. You'll prepare species-appropriate food, feed your charges, and keep their enclosures clean. Animal caretakers work not only in zoos but also in animal shelters, veterinary clinics, or research institutions, for example. Your charges aren't always healthy and happy. Therefore, dealing with sick animals or death shouldn't upset you. Besides a love for animals, as an animal caretaker you should also be comfortable interacting with people. In zoos or animal shelters, you'll advise visitors; in research laboratories or clinics, you'll work as part of a team.
