(m/f/d)

Job Description

Not running? Not a chance! - Train Traffic Controller and Additional Qualification: Train Dispatcher. You love trains, but you don't play chess. The trains that make your heart race travel on rails, connecting people across borders. Training as a train traffic controller and additional qualification as a train dispatcher catapults you directly into the control center of Deutsche Bahn. As a train traffic controller, you won't miss a single train journey in your area of responsibility. You're just as familiar with points and signals as you are with a wide variety of interlocking technologies. You also know the relevant regulations, implement them professionally, and thus ensure that every journey is not only safe but also runs according to schedule. If disruptions or deviations do occur, that's when you, as the train dispatcher, come into play. Now it's crucial to quickly coordinate, find suitable solutions, and decide which trains are allowed to depart and when.
