Train Traffic Controller: You Set the Switches Right - Training as a Train Traffic Controller. You simply love being in charge! This character trait, which may have gotten you into trouble at home or with friends, is your kickstart to a career at Deutsche Bahn. As a train traffic controller, you sit in the command center, have a constant overview of rail traffic thanks to state-of-the-art technology, and know exactly which train is going where. But don't worry, this job isn't just about observation! From your control center, you also actively intervene in rail traffic by requesting trains to stop or overtake, setting switches, and activating signals. You also have a direct radio line to the train drivers and can inform them of any last-minute deviations.

Training Content
- You will familiarize yourself with working in a signal box.
- Learning about and operating different signaling technologies
- The fundamentals of railway operations and the cooperation of all parties involved
- You will learn how to correctly set train routes (track, points, signals).
- Communication and coordination with colleagues in the signal box, train drivers and control centers are part of your daily work routine.
