Training as a plumbing, heating and air conditioning systems mechanic

The apprenticeship as a plumbing, heating, and air conditioning (HVAC) technician encompasses the skills of a gas and water installer as well as a heating and ventilation technician. It also includes components of solar and electrical engineering. For HVAC technicians, manual dexterity, technical understanding, spatial reasoning, and an interest in mathematics are essential. The apprenticeship also integrates training as an electrician for specific tasks. Furthermore, building management systems have been newly added to the curriculum.
