Medical Technologist for Radiology
(m/f/d)Job Description
Are you fascinated by medical topics as much as innovative technology? Then combine both passions and choose an apprenticeship as a Medical Technologist for Radiology (MTR). Your task is to carry out diagnostic and treatment procedures as ordered by a physician and to evaluate, document, and archive the results. It's incredibly exciting to work with equipment for computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound diagnostics, nuclear medicine imaging, or radiation therapy. The profession requires diligence, precision, and an aptitude for natural sciences. But the human factor also plays a crucial role. Not only do you position patients correctly for radiation or X-rays, but you also need to provide them with positive reinforcement. Some patients are ill, anxious, and fearful of the examination results. As a Medical Technologist for Radiology, you are indispensable to the physician, competent with the equipment, and empathetic towards the patient.
